It’s always unfortunate when a woman has to spend her hard earned money on women’s shoes just for one single special event. It’s a situation that every woman who generally prefers not to wear heels will find herself in given time. You can spend a great deal of time looking for cheap women’s shoes that you like, are stylish without being gaudy, and fit into your overall price range. Finding A good Plus Sized Sports Bra

Plus sized women already have a lot of limitations when it comes to buying clothing as it is and buying workout apparel is no different. Try being a heavy set woman that has made the decision to start being more active and then goes shopping for workout gear only to find they cannot fit into any of the workout gear.

Most plus size stores do not even offer workout apparel. I am a size– and wear a size L-XL top in women’s sizes and I have shopped at sporting goods stores and out of the hundreds of workout tops available, I may only find a small handful of tops in an XL that I can even fit into. Although I love Nike, Puma and Reebok; none of those manufacturers design fitted workout tops with a size– or larger in mind. They cater to fit and smaller woman.

Just speaking about this makes me angry. It leaves larger women with no choice than to have to purchase large over sized t-shirts. Then is the next more frustrating thing for them; shopping for a sports bra. now if they don’t even make athletic wear available, do you honestly think plus sized women are going to find many options for plus sized sports bras to work out with? I didn’t think so. If anyone needs the support, it’s plus sized women too!

Good workout clothing is a confidence booster for some people. I know that when I feel I look good in my workout clothing then I don’t mind showing up to the gym and getting my workout on. If there is to be success with weight loss and working out, then a woman needs to have the right workout apparel and even more importantly; a good sports bra.

Ok so now that we have an understanding of why a plus sized bra is important for working out, just where can you buy them? I already made it pretty obvious that plsu sized stores have a disappointing selection IF they even offer workout clothing. I have seen Target offers Champion sports bras up to size XXL but unfortunately you had better expect to double up your sports bras in order to get just half way decent support.

10 years ago, I was really limited to sports bras. I searched high and low for plus sized ones and my only option was shopping at Target. Those sports bras were the worst investment. They were not supportive and they “exposed” things that should not have been made visible. Use your imagination here, especially if I got cold after a sweat. of course today you can purchase some amazing plus sized sports bras on Amazon or Road Runner Sports. What is Art Deco Jewelry?

Art Deco is a term you are sure to hear if you are at all interested in antique or vintage jewelry. The jewelry designs of the 1920s to 30s were greatly influenced by the Art Deco movement that was taking place around the world. The term Art Deco was actually taken from the International Exposition of Modern Industrial and Decorative Art which was organized in 1925 in France. Many famous designers and artists presented their wares to the public at this famous show.

One of the biggest historical events to influence Art-Deco jewelry design was the discovery of King Tut’s tomb. This inspired a wave of design that was very Egyptian in nature. Pyramids, serpents and spiders emerged as design elements. Advances in technology were also a definite influence as well which can be seen reflected in the designs of autos and airplanes that found their way into pieces of jewelry.

Then, coming out of the First World War, the country was ready for a bit more flash and pizzazz. There was a lot of geometric and abstract design used in all types of jewelry. Favorite colors were black onyx, blue sapphires, green emeralds, and red coral and of course white diamonds. Designs were bold and pieces were often big. Pendants were often long and free flowing while bangle bracelets and cocktail rings were extremely popular. The boyishness of the female wardrobe of the day also led to incorporation of other costume pieces such as cigarette cases and holders.

There was money to spend at the end of the war and prior to the stock market crash, a lot of it was spent on jewelry and jewelry making. As a result, many of the designs of the Art-Deco period were very luxurious. Some of the world’s most renowned names in the industry emerged during this period. Lalique, Cartier, Chanel, and Van Cleef are just a sampling.

The economic times played the greatest role in the end of the Art Deco era. The downturn of the early thirties led to a more restricted production of jewelry and designers were forced to turn to cheaper materials to produce jewelry items that a less affluent society could afford.

Art Deco had another surge in popularity during the 1960′s when a new show was organized based on books that had been written about the original Art Deco movement. The phrase Art Deco was actually first coined during this period.

Today Art Deco reproduction jewelry is a very popular choice among wholesalers of jewelry both in rings and other pieces.

It was said when I was considerably younger and quite determined to be a fashionable person that if you lived long enough, all the fashions recycled themselves. Now I’m older and know precisely what they were talking about. The latest Mens clothing styles that comes to mind is Mens pointy toed shoes.

I see them today on all the young fashionable men and I simply don’t believe that the guys of my era ever wore them quite so pointy. To some of these young wannabe’s who it seems must spend considerable time bending down and turning the outrageous points of these shoes upwards, makes them look like pixies when they walk down the street. It makes me smile and I wonder what is happening to their toes inside those o-so-pointy-toed shoes. Are they the upcoming market for the Podiatrists of the future? I suspect this could well be the case.

Mens clothing styles change too from season to season, year to year but when you think about it there isn’t too much change that can happen to a pair of trousers, shirts, socks, belts and suits. Let’s look at Men’s suits over the decades. We’ve had the double breasted, single breasted, striped, plain, stovepipe legs, flares, buttons on the cuffs, no buttons on the cuffs, padded shoulders, no pads on the shoulders, hipster pants, and light colors, dark colors in the materials. We did have about two seasons with the Safari suit for less formal occasions but these soon went out of fashion and didn’t stick around for too long. Remembering some of the not-so-manly figures some men made in them I’m not too surprised that its life didn’t linger too long.

One of the Mens fashions I did like and still do like is the sports Jacket. This jacket is a very versatile piece of clothing and can be worn with any type of shirt from an office-dress shirt to a very casual T shirt. It is often made from a very durable fabric that goes with any pair of slacks, pants or trousers or whatever you call them and they always look casual/formal smart. Just as a skirt is an essential item of clothing in a woman’s wardrobe so is the sports jacket a necessary addition to any well dressed mans wardrobe.
